When I was a child, I had a constantly reoccurring dream. It was the image of some small critter crawling slowly through tall grass. It was always notable for the silence. Like an impossible to miss, overwhelming silence. Then, out of nowhere, the ground splits open, and something enormous pours out of the tear in the field. I can’t say what that thing is really. Only that it was red, and loud.

I feel, these days, like the animal in the grass. Waiting for a mouth in the ground to swallow me up.


It is too quiet.

I haven't looked, and you might've even posted it here already, but there was this poem you did "he has more balls then you will ever have" about a trans-man friend. Can you repost it?
