closest ive ever been to a yankee fan.

as a descendent of queens people, i am devoutly in the metropolitans corner. but i hate no baseball team more than the phillies and their ridiculous name. Wtf is a philly? The Philadelphia Female Racehorses?

Fuck the phillies. Not thrilled about the parade ruining my subway life. The Giants parade cost me three hours a few years back. But at the end of the day im happy a NY team won. Because, in reality, i was raised in the shadow of the greatest city in all history. And, like true New Yorkers, we are quite comfortable with the fact that we are actually better than you are. Canyon of heroes. Empire State. United Nations. The Garden. The statue of liberty. The center of trade, fashion, art, music, finance, sport, theatre, education, music, civil rights, progress, and the funnel through which the wild majority of this immigrant nation poured through. Fuck everybody else. Fuck eeeeeverybody. I love where Im from.
